With a reluctant sigh she slipped off the couch and scampered over to the window out of curiosity.

And don’t you dare throw another rock…”
“Don’t panic.”
He couldn’t leave her with that demon, even though a part of him wanted to. It was her fault that he was here in the first place. She deserved whatever was coming her way. But despite what he told himself he couldn’t just walk away.
As she came closer he had reached in, taking hold of her lithe form and in one simple motion he pulled her through the window. It seemed as if he was going to hold onto her, but he quickly let go once she was through. Letting her fall on the ground without an ounce of remorse.

“What the hell was that for?!”
Falling the ground rather ungracefully, she pinned the Uchiha with a suspicious glare before raising to her feet. Wiping away any accumulated dust as if the few moments she spent on the ground may have unearthed several ounces worth of dirt. Of all the possible scenario’s this one had thrown her for a loop.
“Mind telling me why we’re outside the house?”
And not inside enjoying tea… She wanted to say but refrained from doing so. Curious as to why he was so adamant about staying out of his own home. Was he afraid of something? Had he finally found the one thing in the whole world that frightened him as much as spiders did her?
