“I have my sources,” he replies shadily, wiggling a blond brow towards the crimson-haired kunoichi.
While those sources weren’t particularly reliable, he had started talking to Sakura about women once they’d hit that comfortable point in their friendship. The conversation had only confused him more, but at least he had learned when to say something and when not to. With Karui, however, enraging her was too entertaining to pass up. “If you lot were an entirely different species, I really wouldn’t be surprised.”
“Your sources are about as reliable as your logic…”
If she were a mind reader then she would’ve sensed the oncoming comment as something meant to rile her up. Seeing as that wasn’t the case the blonde received just what was aiming for.
“What are you trying to say, Uzumaki.
That we’re like animals or something, eh?”
Probably not but she had a tendency to assume things far past the realm of reason. Depending on his answer he just might receive the beating her mind had urged her to reconsider moments ago.
