Well she wasn’t expecting him to go to such lengths in order to pester her. Dipping to the side she avoided the unwarranted flame, saving her list in the process. He would not burn a damn thing in her grasp and she had half a mind to throw an insult or two his way but that’s what he wanted. Acknowledgement.

And just like that his flames were dismissed as an accident outside of his control.
